Nine Swords

First, to get everyone into the mood, imo one of the best movie fencing scenes - Highlander series, Duende episode- final battle


How a real hisorical fencing looks like- swift and deadly. A lot of technique, but not much of beauty. Messer - German fighting knife, actually a short sword.


Equally swift and deadly, especially good example of "slow blunt longswords", huh.

I prefer the last two videos, personally. The second vid is actually a good warm up for watching the third vid... and that 3rd vid _slays_!!

Who said "slow"?
