Nine Swords

Amnesia: The Dark Descent, one of the better horror games of recent years, is free today on Steam until 10am PDT Wednesday (1700 UTC). Posting here as I'm sure there are some horror fans here who might be interested.

I have never felt more anxious playing a game than I have when I tried playing that game. One time I was playing it with headphones on, and my wife walked up behind me and tried to hand me a cookie over my right shoulder. I jumped.

I could never beat it, or really play it for long periods at at time. The atmosphere in the game is amazing, and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes that sort of thing.

Playing it made me discover that, no, I don't like feeling on edge like that when playing a game. It was so nerve-wracking.

I just saw one of my friends on Facebook post about it - and I just read the reviews. I love scary games.. but the reviews I just read make me think this might not be the best for me

Downloading it now...
