Nine Swords

Hello all Aegis grinders !

I'm looking for other members that need to get MK3 toolkits from the Manufactory NM in order to upgrade their Aegis beyond 2.0, and are willing to spend some time trying to get some. My (nebulous) plan is to grind the 1st boss, unless the team is good and we can take on boss 2 too (the tank) or the whole dungeon (would be awesome but I'll stay realist). In the case of the whole dungeon don't look at me, I never did except in Elite.

Please indicate in your sign up your current Aegis lvl and what role you can/ are willing to do. If you have the Aegis gadget, please let us know (helps take down shields faster, meaning Boss 2 could be viable). If you have experience in the NM dungeon, please let us know.

If there is a lot of interest I will give priority to people at 2.0 Aegis, or near it, if we can't form several teams. I will therefore NOT cap the sign ups so that we can see if we can form 2 or more teams.

I indicated 1.5 hours in the event calendar, but as it would only be fair that all participants get (at least) 1 toolkit each in this run, please be aware that the event can take longer. So if you sign up, please also be prepared to stay longer and not leave the group with a member short (unless you can guarantee us a replacement). You would not appreciate it if you were the only one without a toolkit when the team disbands

Loot rules: Need on the toolkits that drop until you get one, then pass until all the team as gotten one. Other loot is greeded.

I'm interested, but don't know if I can be home at the start time.

2.1 AEGIS on Cyber and Psy main hand, Cyber shield; 2.0 AEGIS everywhere else.

Probably best as healer (2 blue heal caps). Never done NM.

If your goal is to just get kits, stick to doing the first two bosses and ignore doing the entire dungeon. It certainly can be boring, but you'll get way more kits than attempting the entire dungeon.

Now, if you just want to experience the dungeon, then by all means do the whole thing.

I am probably good to do this. Best as a DPS, but I should be good to tank too if we need.

Tanking the first two bosses isn't too bad, but you need a fast impair for the Tank, Helter + Double Dash probably works best, and you'll want CP in case you aren't close enough for Helter. And you want to healtank it. With a healer.

If you don't want to swap builds, then just farm both fights with a healer and healtank. First boss takes longer to kill that way, but then you can just keep running w/o stopping between fights to swap builds.

In order to do the second boss, the DPS will need to be able to drop the shields in time on the towers. If one DPS is slower than the rest, the healer can bring Discord Rising to expose it to give them a boost too. Once the towers are down, it's just staying alive, and on the tank to get the impairs and the cannon shot, and the healer to get the balls.

Since the second boss is a guaranteed drop, it's in the best interest of the group to be able to do it as well, since it means five runs through the two fights gets at least one toolkit per person.

I'm up for that. Only need my red and purple head aegis to 2.0.

I'd like to try too - everything except head at 2.0 as a dps

Thanks for the run, it was great fun ! Even if we got stuck on the tank, we got a bit further each time so next time, let's send that piece of metal to the scrapyard and get those kits !! I look forward to running with you all again
