Yes, take a look at the NY Raid Guide link on the main post for guides on doing DPS in the raid.

Also, for the raid the raid:

DPS = Single target DPS focusing on the boss using ranged matched weapons, (So melee, Pistol/SG or AR/ELE/Blood)
Ranged DPS = DPS responsible the ones responsible for bringing AoE to take out the adds that spawn. This is most easily done using AR/Blood.
Buff DPS = Pistol/SG and bringing Breaching Shot/Deadly Aim. Buff DPS are the only people to bring buffs.

Everyone was new at one point, no biggie. Im fairly certain this NA Raid group, like 80% of us were new to it when we began.

Based on the guides, I am tweaking my build for tonight, so my damage should be better (probably going melee this time).
