Can you explain?

If you're wondering why this particular team comp was chosen:

1. We only have a few people signed who are able to do certain roles so they get in. I need experienced people in the tank, ranged DPS, and melee DPS roles.

2. Other people who signed have been on reserve on not been in for a while.

3. All who were put on reserves have been in a raid in the last few days.

2. The last raid I did in a span of like 2 weeks was on Wednesday

3. ...which you didn't even award points for like I asked, which makes the whole raid negligible. It took 2 hours to start and it was only 3 or 4 people from the cabal. It was more or less a pug run.

Whats the point in having a first come, first serve system if you're just going to cherry pick anybody you want?

We do not have a First Come, First Serve system. We have a system of 13 people signing up and then the raid being chosen from those people. Order of signing up does not factor into it. Says so right in the sign-up rules:

"The final Raid Team will be chosen among these 13 based on what is needed to give a good chance of downing the Lurker, with a view to getting in people who sign up regularly. The Raid Leader's decision on the team is final, however, and may be based on factors such as upcoming vacations, someone's repeated missed loot rolls and the desire to spread around points spending, ability to attend only one raid a week, and so on."

Again, i direct you toward the rules of signing up:

When signing up, please state what roles you are good to do - tanking, fist healer/podder, leeching, AoE DPS, or single target DPS.

Now, lots of us regulars to the EU raid don't do this because Claretta knows our roles. But you mainly attend the NA raid. How was she supposed to know? Yesterday, Clare send me and Ciritty this message:

Then Aberlour signed up and got ranged DPS, freeing Cir to do meelee DPS. She literally did not know, and it's your responsibility to make sure that she does.

I'm done. All it is, is an addendum to add whomever you want whenever you want.

Claretta did not know your role.

She did not know.

She literally had no way of knowing short of rifling through all your posts to see if you state your roles somewhere else. Is that reasonable in your opinion? Should she have done that?

Yes, the people who have been raiding with Claretta for months are neglectful in stating what roles they do because, again, they have been raiding with her for months and she simply knows. That does not mean it's not in the rules. Anyone who does not sign up with all their roles clearly stated risks the same thing you just experienced.
