Actually I talked to TS about it and it was decided that whomever ends up inside the pod is, in effect, the designated podder at that moment, so we could just sort of let that happen and see how it goes.

It went bad on Thursday with 5 pods suddenly being there at wave :p

Yeah, the no podder strat works better in phase 3, where if everyone is in front of Alex or Rose, they get podded. You do have to get them out of the pods, though, or no buff circles.

Or, it works when you have the DPS to just ignore pods.

But, it does spice things up when you don't! We've been running this for years, have to make it interesting somehow.
