You just have to be online and one of the group leaders will invite you to their group if there's room. If not, you'll remain a reserve (and you'll still get raid points)

OK, that's what I figured. And I assumed there would be no room, even with Gelden bowing out because there were two of us in reserve. I just saw the raid points sheet had been updated already but I wasn't on there, so I assumed I was late for something.

Although, the confusion possibly stems from the fact my forum name (MikeimusPrime) is not my character name (Aberlour). I wonder if I should see if that can be changed, I don't like to have a bunch of different login names on places, but might be better for something like this.

IT would definitely be handy if you at least mention so in the raid threads so no one misses it- Clare will read this and make sure you're awarded properly and get an almost guaranteed pass into the next raid you sign up for! Sorry for the lack of communication!

I actually thought I had put the name difference in the message, but I did not. I'm not worried about the lack of communication (I should have asked for clarification first, not after), or really even the points, I just wanted to make sure I knew the procedure for the future.

This was a name issue. I checked the guild list 10 minutes before raid and saw no one with your forum name so didn't think you were on, sorry.

I can give you points for attendance if you actually were.

I can confirm that, saw him stand at the gate to the New York "backyard" a few minutes before we went in.

Sorry about the name confusion, had Katelin change it to match my character name because I likely will forget to post the clarification when signing up again. I promise I won't be this much of a hassle again.
