Sunday fits me quite well, got a day trip out on Saturday, which makes that day already quite full.

Achtung!
I will NOT be able to attend the raid this Sunday.
I'm really sorry, but I have some stuff to do instead.
Wish you to find an awesome tank as a replacement.
Pray to horses, they'll help.

Really would like to learn the NY raid, only been there once with a PUG (went pretty bad as to be expected), seen vids and read a bit. 10.4 tank here. Please see also my introduction thread
http://www.nine-swords.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3303 about me learning new stuff. Thanks

Unfortunately we didn't get it down, got to 50K on best try. But least the tanks have experience now.
There were mostly a lot of mistakes made while people learned how to tank it, which was expected. So next time it will be much easier.

I'll organise one for next weekend too.
Things to take note of for next time:
* Biggest issues are tank swapping and getting drake aggro. That comes with practice, though. It takes a raid to learn how to do it.
* DPS should be careful to not take down drakes to 0HP during Shadow out of Time.
* If you're having trouble avoiding the fist attack, switch to a builder which does not snare you, like Hip Fire with Steady Hip Fire, or Striker.
* Is generally best to have two ranged matched weapons because is the only way to buff both in the third phase.
* When final resort comes, all DPS need to get on the boss straight away. Try and save buffs for this.
* Add management was good, and so was podding.
* And for me, I'll post a more concrete time next so people know when to log in.

Hey Claretta,
I'd like to sign up for the NY raid too
Have been there only once in a PUG, and we failed as to be expected, so I lack experience, definitely. But while we failed, all said that we tanks did our job pretty good, we made it couple of time to the second phase, tanks grabbed drags, but then the dps and healer were overrun by the zombies.
So, while I might be a noob regarding NY, I think I could learn it pretty quickly with your help, I think.
Thanks and see you soon
