I am closing in, currently on 879 (I think it was).
I am very interested in becoming a part of this when I'm ready.
My build is DPS Sword/Pistol.

I will also level Elementalism and Blood -weapons to 35orange, but currently I'm sword/pistol only.

LeM:)

And e10 nyr tanking video, dont mind the death at last phase, after last resort it doesnt matter if tank is there or not since everyone will have stacks and you have to kill the boss in 20 seconds anyway

I finally managed to watch video and I have a question. Why you keep telling people to stop dps around podding? Is it to gain their attention before saying about pod or does hitting boss somehow affect who'll be podded?

Also can you say about incoming waves and Personal Space just by knowing and checking boss HP? People keep saying about big need of EffectsUI in there and yet I don't really see you using it, I mean, you start telling about incoming things seconds before EffectsUI shows anything. I was going to ask if there's code for this mod to share that would predict this stuff but it seems like not a thing. 🤔

Hey Jess

There are 2 reasons to stop dps when pod is coming or when someone is podded.
First reason is that there are some HP thresholds for Personal Space, if you trigger Personal Space before you kill the pod, podded person might die to Personal Space. So you want to handle the pod before you push. It also helps you because you know there wont be any pod coming anytime soon, so people can safely revive npcs after person space.

Second reason is that sooner you kill the pod the better, you want your healer to be free of healing the podded person and focus on placing filths. Also there is a risk of podded person dying to fist.

Personal Spaces are HP triggered, while Shadows are time triggered. I heard something about a mod that warns you when Personal Space is about to happen. But i didnt research about it and i dont use it. So yes i watch the boss' hp for Personal Space. So All the calls you heard is all from experience and not from a mod.

I use EffectsUI for watching my tank rotation, also the names of the people that is going to be podded. Normally people should be able to handle that on their own, but since things can get chaotic its better if raid leader calls the name of the person that is going to be podded. And i also use ACT text to voice setting for which npc is getting podded.

Knowing when to stop dps and when to continue dps can mean success or wipe. And to know that raid leader has to be pretty experienced, because there is no fixed timing for stopping or continuing dps, it all changes with overall raid's dps, who got podded, who got lucky and got crits etc..
