Her mother won't tell me where the 'Arabella' came from, but the 'Esmé' is a nod to Mistress Weatherwax, from the Pratchett books. I wholeheartedly approve. That's an excellent namesake.

I myself was named James Bret [redacted] after James Garner, who played Bret Maverick.

I was supposed to be a "junior" but then surprised my parents by being a girl, so I ended up "Roberta" instead of "Robert". I go by my middle name though, so only salesmen and the government actually use Roberta. Basically, if anyone calls me by that name, I know it's no one I want to talk to
