Lustrehunter stands at the beginning of a maze. After taking some damage he will run to another location within the maze.
When the Lustrehunter gets to another location within the maze, he will start absorbing energy from the green flames in the braziers. This gives him a buff which increases damage. The location he runs to depends on the amount of health he has left.
There is only one way out of the maze, and the correct way is easy to learn after a few runs.
Active Effects
Immune to CC
Arcane Peak:
Stacks gained from Arcane Exposure. "Arcane Energy changes this creature, increasing its damage."
Abilities to look out for:
Occluding lens
: "All damage dealth to this creature will also be dealth to the attacker."
Fallback
: The Lustrehunter will stun anyone in line of sight. He then runs to another location in the maze.
Arcane Exposure:
The lustrehunter absorbs energy from green flames nearby, gaining stacks of Arcane Peak. This cast is interrupted when the boss takes damage. This cast is an aggro reset, and the boss will target the first person to hit him.
E8+
:
Rot Iron:
A single group member will be affected by rot iron. This must be cleansed, or the player will end up in the anima well.
After casting Arcane Exposure, the area around the boss does damage to anyone in it.
E14+:
Occluding Lens reflects more damage.
Rot Iron does increased damage and needs a fast cleanse.
What the tank needs to know:
This is a fairly easy boss to tank, and there is nothing to interrupt.
Make sure to be the first to grab aggro at the start of the encounter and after the boss has moved.
E8+:
If there is no healer in the group, makes sure someone has a cleanse for Rot Iron.
Be aware that the green pulsing AoE around the boss after he casts Arcane Exposure will do additional damage to you. Make sure not to move in a way that other group members get damaged by the AoE.
What the healer needs to know:
Group heals may be useful if the dps take damage from Occluding Lens.
E8+:
Bring cleanses for Rot Iron. You may need more than one if you are in a group with high dps.
Avoid standing close to the boss after he is done casting Arcane Exposure. The green pulsing AoE around the boss is dangerous.
What the dps need to know:
You should let the tank go first and aggro the boss at all times. Stay back and don't run ahead of the boss.
Hide behind a wall as the Lustrehunter casts Fallback to avoid stun. This is not completely necessary, as the stun only lasts a few seconds and does no damage.
E8+:
Avoid standing close to the boss after he is done casting Arcane Exposure. The green pulsing AoE around the boss is dangerous.
If there is no healer in the group, make sure someone has cleanses for Rot Iron.
