The Hook Swords Division (Recruitment)

The Hook Swords division member responsibilities

The Hook Swords Division looks after the recruitment processes within Nine Swords. Members of Nine Swords who join this division contribute to building a strong community of active and friendly individuals.  Since retention goes hand in hand with recruitment, it is also the responsibility of Hook Swords to make new members feel welcome and valued as members of the 9Swords community.

Responsibilities of all members within Hook Swords.

Hook Swords members are encouraged to:

• Spread the "9 Swords is Recruiting" message in General Chat and in dungeons, lairs and teams when you run into players that you feel would be a good fit with us. See the Recruitment InfoCards Directive or the In Game Script to Promote 9S for more information about how to do it up fancy.
• Direct prospective applicants to the Nine Swords directives and other sources of information to help them with the application process.
• Actively check the Nine Swords forums for new applications and respond to Recruitment posts.
• If it looks like a recruiter has not yet noticed the new pending application, let the recruiter know about the applicant.
• Interact with the new members as often as possible to let them know that they are not forgotten once they've "signed on the dotted line"

Responsibilities of Hook Swords Recruiters

In addition to the above tasks, the recruiters of Hook Swords will:

• Follow the Internal Recruitment workflow to induct new members into 9Swords
• Remain an active member of both the website and the game. Recruiters that have not logged into the forum or the game for over a month, and have not communicated a pending "temporarily inactive" status will be demoted to Hook Sword Member until their return to the game and forums.  To be reinstated as Recruiter, PM the Hook Swords Leader upon return to active gaming.

Responsibilities of Hook Swords Leaders.

In addition to the above tasks, the leaders of Hook Swords will:

• Lead the Hook Swords division with clear goals, tasks and good communication.
• Train new Hook Swords division members in their recruitment responsibilities.
• Help all other leaders within Nine Swords keep up to date in how they can assist the Hook Swords division
