General

• The Corroder stands at the bottom of a narrow passage of sharp rocks.
• Once the fight has started, fire will close in on the group from both entrance and exit to the passage. The boss must be killed before the whole area is on fire. 
• Active effects: 
• Abilities to watch out for:
  • Caustic Outpouring: The boss will make a large green bubble (Caustic Outpouring). Team members must either stand in the center of this bubble or outside of it. Anyone caught in the green area will end up in the anima well. 
  • Cleaves: The boss cleaves with his arms. Anyone standing in front of the corroder will be hit. 
• E14+: The boss leaves a Caustic Puddle after casting the Caustic Outpouring ability. 

What the tank needs to know: 

• Once the team has hidden behind the wall at the halfway point down the passage, you must go to the bottom and retrieve the boss. You can hit it once or just get aggro by standing close to it. Make sure to not lose aggro to your dps or healer. 
• Bring the boss up to your team, make sure to face him away from them. 
• At E14+ level dungeons the fight gets more complicated. The boss will leave green puddles of goo on the ground after casting the big green bubble. This goo is very dangerous. Therefore you must be conscious of where you place the boss.
• Some tanks will start below the hiding spot for the dps. The tank will then move the corroder to the opposite side of the passage once he places the goo. The tank can move the boss back and forth until it is dead. 

What the healer needs to know: 

• You need stay with the dps at the beginning of the fight. Make sure to not catch aggro from the boss by premature healing.  

What the dps need to know: 

• Before the fight begins, it is most common for the team to hide behind the obstacle at the halfway point down the passage. Wait to hit the boss until the tank has got it in position. 
• Be careful of the big green bubble. Stand inside it, hide behind something or stand at sufficient range to be outside it.
