General

  • The Traumadriver stands in the middle of a long corridor. As the fight goes on, fire will move from the entrance toward the exit of the corridor. 
  • If the dps is too low, the fire will engulf the whole corridor. 
  • The towers along the corridor will activate in sequence, putting large purple AoEs on the floor. These must be avoided.
  • Some times, the group will run past the boss on the right side before the tank engages. This is to have a better starting position for the fight. It is important to not pull aggro before the tank. 
  • Active effects: 
    • Immune to CC
  • Abilities to watch out for: 
    • Strip mine: Circular AoE that will kill players. Make sure to move out of this. 
    • Searing Brand: Powerful single target attack.
    • E8+: Molten metal: A large AoE centered on the boss. Will put a debuff on anyone in it. 
    • E14+: Hell sword: A large sword-shaped AoE that the boss "swings". It is important that the dps and healer are not standing where this AoE will hit. 

 

What the tank needs to know: 

  • Make sure to engage the boss at the correct time, so that the team will not be caught in the middle of the purple AoEs. 
  • Searing brand can be interrupted. 
  • On higher elite levels, it is important to be aware of where you place the boss and which way he faces. If he faces toward the dps, they may get struck by the hell sword ability. 

 

What the healer needs to know: 

  • It is better to stay at range, together with the dps. The tank may need a cleanse during this fight. 

 

What the dps need to know: 

  • Make sure to stay clear of AoEs. Some may be hard to see due to other effects on the floor.
