General

• Flagellatrix Superior stands in the centre of the Power Relay. Patrolling the area are Piston Predators, which should be avoided. The boss should only be engaged when they are out of the way. If the Piston Predators see any group member, they will start casting red AoEs that follow the group members around. 
• Active Effects
  • Immune to CC
  • Occluding lens: Damage shield gained from Vigil ability. 
• Abilities to look out for: 
  • Spite Lance: Frontal AoE that does damage to anyone caught in it.  
  • Vigil: The boss gains a shield that protects her from damage. 
• E8+: Distress Call: The boss summons adds and is invulnerable until they are killed. 
• E14+: The Masochist: The Flagellatrix now summons a big hell soldier called The Masochist. He must be killed before the Flagellatrix. He can cast Hell Sword, which is a large sword shaped AoE that he swings in an arch.

What the tank needs to know: 

• Tank the boss with your back to a wall. This is to avoid any dps getting caught in AoE from the boss. 
• Make sure to grab aggro from all adds when they appear. 
• E14+: The Masochist should be tanked so that he faces away from the group. Otherwise his Hell Sword might kill the other group members. Once he has cast the Hell Sword ability, you can move him as needed to avoid the Piston Predators. 

What the healer needs to know: 

• As long as all group members avoid AoEs and catching aggro, no group heals or cleanses are needed for this fight.  

What the dps need to know: 

• Avoid AoEs from the boss or adds.
• Be sure to follow the tank when it is time to move to avoid the piston predators that patrol the area.
