General

  • In this boss encounter, there are three bosses you have to face. Cassius, Iscariot and Brutus.
  • It is useful for the group to decide in which order to kill the bosses. Once one of the bosses die, the others heal up and gain additional abilities.
  • Active Effects:
    • Immune to CC
  • Abilities to look out for:
    • Black Iron Bulwark: Cast by Brutus. Reduces the damage on the two other bosses by 90 %.
    • Body Hammer: Cast by Brutus. If Brutus is the last boss alive, he will do the Body Hammer attack. He charges towards a player in the team, dealing a large amount of damage.
    • Immolation Invocation: Cast by Iscariot. Affects a random player in the group. Fire will follow the player as they run around, leaving a persistent and damaging area on the ground. If they stand still, the player takes damage. Whoever is affected must keep running until the effect goes away.
    • Metallic Purity: Cast by Cassius. A shield that reflects damage. Can be purged.
    • Chirurgy: Cast by Cassius. AoE heal. Can be interrupted.
    • Painwheel Overdrive: Cast by Brutus and Cassius. AoE centered on the caster. Must be avoided or interrupted.
    • Occluding Lens: Cast by adds summoned by Cassius when he is the last one alive. Occluding lens is a reflect shield.
  • E8+:
    • Rot Iron: Cast by Cassius. A player in the group will periodically be affected by rot iron. Green chains surround the player, and if it isn't cleansed, the player dies.
    • Drink Deep: Cast by Brutus. A large self-heal. Can be interrupted.
    • Occluding lens cannot be purged
    • Metallic Purity cannot be purged
  • E14+:
    • Rot Iron does additional damage and needs a fast cleanse.
    • Occluding Lens does additional damage.

What the tank needs to know:

  • Make sure to grab and hold aggro on all three bosses from the start of the encounter. It may be wise to inform the group about which order to kill the bosses in. The most commonly used is BIC (First Brutus, then Iscariot, and lastly, Cassius).
  • E8+:
    • If you see Brutus casting Drink Deep, you should interrupt it.
    • Pay attention to your feet. If you are the target of Immolation Invocation, it means you have to keep moving to avoid death. Do not run around in such a way as to trap other players or damage them with the fire you leave behind

What the healer needs to know:

  • It is a good idea to stay at some range from the tank and bosses, this is to avoid any AoE around them.
  • E8+:
    • Bring cleanse for rot iron. Be sure to pay attention to what is happening to the players so that you know when it is time to cleanse.
    • Group heals may be needed because of the reflected damage from Occluding Lens and damage from Immolation Invocation.
    • Pay attention to your feet. If you are the target of Immolation Invocation, it means you have to keep moving to avoid death. Do not run around in such a way as to trap other players or damage them with the fire you leave behind

What the dps need to know:

  • Be careful of AoEs on the ground, especially as melee dps.
  • Be aware of the order in which you should kill the bosses. The most commonly used is BIC (First Brutus, then Iscariot, and lastly, Cassius).
  • Pay attention to any shields on the bosses. They can reflect damage back to you. If the healer can't keep up, you may die.
  • E8+:
    • If there is no healer in the group, make sure someone has a cleanse.
    • Pay attention to your feet. If you are the target of Immolation Invocation, it means you have to keep moving to avoid death. Do not run around in such a way as to trap other players or damage them with the fire you leave behind.
