General:

Essence of Aspect of the Great-Winged drop from the Lair bosses summoned in Besieged Farmlands, Shadowy Forest and Carpathian Fangs.

This Regional Boss can be summoned at the Regional Spawn Summoning Circle in Besieged Farmlands. To see how to get there, you can take a look at the Introduction to Regional Bosses guide.

During the fight with this beast, it will alternate between grounded mode and flying mode. During each of these phases different whirlwinds will spawn. These whirlwinds follow a player with the "Eye of the Storm" effect on them. This effect can be seen as a buff on the player (purple icon) and visually as a small whirlwind around the player's head. If a player stands in these whirlwinds, they will take massive damage.

When the bird is on the ground, black whirlwinds called "Anomaly" will spawn. These black whirlwinds can be killed. When they die, they perform a small charged PBAOE attack around them. DPS should take care to kill these away from the tank.

When the bird is in the air, white whirlwinds will spawn that can't be targeted. During the flying phase, players should pay attention to the "Eye of the Storm" buff so they can avoid the whirlwinds.

If you you die, come back to the summoning area in Anima form. When you get there - wait a few seconds before you Click YES to resurrect. Filth will only appear after a few seconds in Anima Mode.

What the Tank needs to know:

• The boss hits hard, make sure to have at least 20k HP. Defensive cooldowns and taunts are also  good idea.
• The boss occasionally casts "Anathema" which will drop a circle of filth on a player. Interruptible. 
• The boss will place filth on your position time to time, so make sure you move. However, keeping in a similar area all the time will help your DPS not have to move around so much. 

What the Healer needs to know:

• You can use the ruins in the arena to avoid whirlwinds, but boss still can place filth beneath you.
• Because of the nature of this encounter, many dps can get hurt, make sure you grab some group heals.
• If tank gets "Anethama" debuff, make sure to cleanse that, as it heals the Boss everytime boss hits the target.

What the DPS need to know:

• Try to prioritize black whirlwinds, especially the ones that head towards to tank and healer.
• If you have white whirlwind following you, simply disengage from boss and move away from center of the arena to outer wall.
• If you have heavy losses (4+ dead people), and if the bird is on the ground, do NOT hit the bird, otherwise he could change to fly mode, which make things even worse. Simply wait for people to respawn.
