General:

  • Motes : The purple orbs floating around the room attach to people too close to them. These players are silenced, and cannot tank, dps or heal anymore. They also suffer a significant amount of damage over time, either until the orb is destroyed, or until they die.
    • The best practice is to avoid standing on their way. They are predictable.
    • If an orb grabs you, you should move near the boss. This way, you are in the field of view of other players, and the AOE aiming at the boss will damage the orb too.
  • Heka blast: The boss will sometimes cast an AOE around a player. This AOE moves with the player, until it explodes. It deals a bit of damage to the player with the AOE, and an huge amount of damage to everyone else in the AOE.
    • It is wiser for the player with the AOE to not move, so other players can easily avoid him.

 

What the Tank needs to know:

  • The boss tends to walk away from the tank. The tank should try to keep the boss against a wall: lesser orbs pass by.
  • With new players, it is interesting to bring the gadget "Compact Catastroph Shelter". This would prevent damages taken from orbs and AOE.

What the DPS need to know:

  •  Destroying the orbs attached to a plyer is top priority.
