General:
- Brace yourself: on this fight, the tank will not tank the boss.
- The boss does not attack often, and he systematically oneshots. He walks straightl forward and does not care about aggro.
- Thus, the tank is not useful on the boss. Its job will be to tank adds, mainly the Dead Orochi Ops.
The fight goes as follow:
- Everybody rush forward and attack the first door, while the tank deals with the mummies.
- When the first door falls, one DPS goes back and attacks the boss. The other dps must kill the adds and move forward to next door. They ignore the Orochi; the tank will take care of him.
- When the second door falls, every DPS goes back to the boss and attacks him. When the boss enrages and starts to rush, the DPS goes through the first door and waits for the boss to walk through it and to get stunned. Big DPS time!
- When the boss gets up, the DPS slowly walks backward while continuing to hit, until the boss enrages.
- Repeat for the next door.
What the Tank needs to know:
- Easy boss for you, enjoy!
- Your main focus is on the Orochi Dead Ops. On E8+, 2 more will appear after second door.
- Keep also an eye for purple mummies after each door.
- If you manage to kill the Orochi before the tank dies, you can join the DPS.
What the Healer needs to know:
- Keep a cleanse ready to save people immobilized by the boss.
- The boss prevent people too close to him from moving when he is about to one shot them.
What the DPS need to know:
- One DPS has to attack the boss all along (except when he is enraged). It is called pushing the boss. If it is not done, the boss will kill everyone with a big scream.
- Kill priority otherwise is Door > Mummies > Boss. Never Orochi!
- When the boss is walking slowly, it is safe to attack him, as long as you are not too close. When he is rushing, run and wait on the other side of the next door.
- If you are too close to the boss, he will immobilize you with all the people in a medium radius around him, and kill everyone.
- when you are melee, a safe way to determine if you are too close to a boss is to target yourself. This creates a green circle around your feet. You must ensure this green circle NEVER touches the red circle of the targeted boss.
