Introduction

Within the Pet collection achievements are ones you can get for simply collecting pets as well as one you have to work a little bit harder for! To see the pets you currently have, and the ones you don't press Shift+P to open the Sprints/Pets window, and then click on the tab to change the view to your pets.

The ones you have will show as slightly lit up as the ones in the top right hand corner of the image above show. The ones you do not have will look greyed out. You can change the ticks selected at the top to help you get a better overview. The pets are sorted alphabetically.

Some of the pets can be bought directly from this window with Marks of Favour or Aurum. Others are either from vendors (Jack Venture: Pet Matchmaker, or Doctor Caligari), seasonal events or achievements. You can click on each pet to find out where you can get it from.

Getting all of the achievements for "Collections: Pets" will give you a total of 30 Achievement Points.

Collecting Pets

There are 3 achievements that are based on collecting a number of Pets.

Husbandary Enthusiast

 Objective:  Collect twenty-five pets
 Reward:
  • Sanguine Draug Lord Puppy (Pet)
  • 5 Achievement Points

The Collector

 Objective:  Collect fifty pets
 Reward:
  • Penumbral Hatchling (Pet)
  • 5 Achievement Points

Master of the Menagerie

 Objective:  Collect seventy-five pets
 Reward:
  • Padurii Twiglet
  • 10 Achievement Points

Parazoological Connoisseur

If you have already been collecting pets, you may have got this without even trying!

Objective:  Collect a pet of epic rarity
 Reward:
  • 5 Achievement Points

If you look again into the pet window (Shift +P) you will see that pets are also given levels like our equipment is. Click through until you find one that states "Epic" under the name of the pet. It will look like this:

Happy Feet

Objective:  Have your pet golem participate in or disrupt the strange golem pet dance   ritual
 Reward:
  • 5 Achievement Points

This achievement is a lot of fun to get involved in, and you will very often see call outs in Looking for Group / General chat for it during SWL anniversary event time. The anniversary is when newer players get their hands on their golems from The Talos of Gaia Event (hourly portal event during the game anniversary celebrations).

If you want your Happy Feet Achievement, and want to participate and not disrupt the dance you will need one of the following Shem golems:

  • Shem of Clay
  • Shem of Concrete
  • Shem of Frost
  • Shem of Magma
  • Shem of Sand
  • Shem of Silver
  • Shem of Stone
  • Shem of Swarms
  • Shem of Verdancy
  • Shem of Water

Alongside yourself, you need to find 9 other players each with one of the above golems and head over to Agartha outside the portals to New York, London and Seoul. Summon your pet (via the Pet window, select the pet and click "summon pet") and it will run to its spot in a circle. When all 10 golems are in place, they will start dancing.

If you want to disrupt the dance, which isn't a nice thing to do.. but we will tell you anyway. You will need the following Shem golem:

  • Shem of Rage

Summon it where others are trying to summon pets for the dance version of this achievement.
