General:

The Abyssopelagic Horror is a World Boss summoned at the Public Raid Portal. To find out more about World Bosses in general, please refer to this guide in our Knowledge Base: World Bosses

What the Tank needs to know:

• On cast of Charged Hack - Interrupt
• On cast of Tainted Brine: 
  • Tainted Brine damage is divided among the total number of players in the area of effect. If you start the fight when there is only your team on the playing field, the damage will kill all the lower HP people present unless they're smart enough to look for clear water patches. Wait until the majority of the raid has landed on the platform so there are more bodies to soak the damage.
• On cast of Deep Blast use the Osmium Configuration gadget
  • will avoid knockback and damage
• Ignore Eldritch Zap. It's a random one-time-only attack that the boss casts at start of fight, usually on a DPS.

What the Healer needs to know:

• A ranged build here works best so you can be outside of the AoE he casts

What the DPS need to know:

• A ranged build here works best so you can be outside of the AoE he casts
• If you get a DoT on you during Tainted Brine, stand in one of the puddles of clean water
