I know.
To reply to your post from the other thread:
My 10.1/10.2 dps drops will probably not be sufficient? But my fist/blood or pistol heal can get to 3.5k heal rate and has about 800 crti rating, maybe that is enough, I dont know

... My tank is the best geared so far with some talis on 10.4 and all glyphs on 10.4, but dont know if tanking is a good idea when you have never benn there.
The problem is that you may not be quite ready. Right now we're still very much learning and I'm sensitive about bringing in someone in such gear for a number of reasons.
First is that DPS checks very much matter. The raid 2 weeks ago we did not meet the DPS check by 50K. That was with everyone in 10.4 gear, so I am not sure about bringing in people in 10.1-10.2 drop gear, especially when we're still not downing it yet.
The second is that at this stage, it's better to use experienced tanks, because tanking in the raid is the most demanding job of all.
And the third is that gearing to heal the raid is kindof different from the average 18 runs. If you do wish to be a fist healer, you're better off learning how to heal with 6K HP and defensive stats like block. It's not like a dungeon encounter where you can hide safely behind the tank, because they're busy and cannot stop adds from jumping on you. The typical 1970 HP fist healer with min-maxed heal and crit rating is more a liability in the encounter than a benefit, as they're almost guaranteed to die horribly, leaving the rest of the raid to do it with 9 instead of 10.
Still, the more people we have eventually ready for the raid, the better, and more geared tanks are always good, so if you would like to participate in raiding I would focus on gearing up your main set.
