Your Favorite Pint?

Post by Earl Grey »

So, since I am the Alcoholic Paladin, what better topic to bring up?

I am a big fan of micro Brews...that being said, I love a couple of local breweries around where I am from (Michigan)...

Bell's - Oberon (only available in the summer months in Michigan) a delicious unfiltered citrus/wheat beer...so good Anheuser Busch offered to buy the company several years ago for several million dollars...the owner who loves his beer so much declined the offer.

Shorts - Bellaire Brown - A delicious nut brown ale

What's your favorite adult beverage?

Cheers! *Raises his pint in salutation*

I don't really consume buckets of alcohol, but I'll rarely give up on a pint of good beer.

Well, my favorite is the one from local brewery: Vasileostrovskoe - a dark lager. I guess it's pretty popular in my city, and unknown everywhere else :)

Cheers!

I prefer a pint of Robinsons Orange Squash - but I do quite like Black Sheep.

Not too picky with beer. I love Killkenny, but I can't get it in the states. Local breweries are the way to go.

Not drinking much beer, I tend to stick to the "spirits" or strong alcohols, when I actually drink something with alcohol in it.

That being said, we have a lot of micro-breweries here... A freaking whole lot. Last year, we had a sampling party at a friend's. We selected 20 beers among all that were available... I like the reds, and the sweet pales. More rarely, the blacks if they're not bitter. Kilkenny is good, and there's even better...

I have to admit I'm a pretty girly drinker... I love a really well made Cosmo. But too many places put in too much triple sec and it can be nasty.

Otherwise I like Godiva liquor and Bailey's mixed shots. Mmmm. Creamy Bailey's.
