Facility NM: Saturday 23 Aug 17: 30 GMT

Post by Yuriksha »

OK, cross your fingers and your toes folks, once again we rally to face the evils of Soviet Mad Science with the power of love and peace - I mean, Fear and Wonder.

BTW, it worked pretty well with Scythian, but that was using Safety Off. Hope I don't glance too much!

But that's off-topic. The topic is: Halina down in 90 minutes or bust. Indicate interest and roles below.

1. Yuriksha (DPS)
2. Weigelia (DPS)
3. Floryn (DPS)
4. Deerhound (Leech or DPS)
5. Aberlour (Leech or Tank)

Looks like we're pretty heavy on DPS and secondary heal signups. I must admit I'm still anxious for a tank who's been through before. On the one hand, it's good that we're getting more people chances to learn more aspects of it. On the other, from a purely selfish point of view, I would like to finally complete the dungeon.

However, since you've been with us the past two times we've been in there, Abe, you probably have a good idea of what to do.

Yeah, I'll have to do some studying then. Definitely going to say no to an MP run, though, but the Fear and Wonder ball strat seems like the way to go for the last boss, assuming we can get past the 5th boss.

But if Gambit or another experienced tank wants to come, I am more than willing to bow out.

I would love to tank for you guys but I am travelling on the 23rd. I posted on the vacation forum about it. Will be back on 30 august.

When I get back we can schedule the MP run. I cant say I am very experienced at Facility tanking but I already finished it 5 times, although the last boss I always have to resort to heal tank because nobody wants to try Fear and Wonder way.

Anyway, good luck for you guys!

After-action report:

Went 4/6. Discovered the virtues of carrying Reap and Sew at fourth boss in case a DPS picks up all the adds. Hopefully in the MP run we won't need that.
