She grew up surprisingly happy in Devon – tucked away on the moors, wary of sandy beaches, helping her parents with their new found bee-keeping occupation. Never allowed far from their sight, she became an expert in misdirection and her own company.

The Egypt incident was never referred to again. Her instantaneous recovery was attributed to the doctor and she attributed the rest to hallucinations. She never found any trace of the remembered/dreamed vial. Her name came back to her, but it never felt right and she forgot it during her frequent nightmares.

Naturally talented at research, she was snapped up by an Orochi offshoot to investigate ancient myths and legends. Working from home, using the slow Devon internet she felt fulfilled.

Until she disappeared.
