This is the first regular event series in my Templar Revitalization Project and this will be one of our flagship events!

Starting Officially on October 1st, and taking place every Thursday thereafter, we are making a call to arms from all members of the Templar Order. It doesn't matter what cabal you're in, or if you're even in a cabal. It doesn't matter if you are of the highest position of power or come from the lowest rank on the totem pole: if you are a Templar, you are welcome!

That said, here are the official criteria and disclaimers of this event.

1. This is a Heavy Roleplay Event. There will be opportunity for some heavy roleplay in this event, from discussing Templar politics to investigating possible scenes. The first event will be a standard patrol that will begin at Temple Hall and sweep through Darkside, and into Ealdwic proper. Please, if you are more of a "light roleplayer," keep in mind that this is a heavy RP event, and we will be keeping OOC comments to a minimum, and likely only in group chat or a custom channel to coordinate.

2. We are not law enforcement. Yes the Templars run Ealdwic. No, the Council does not. Everyone however acknowledges that Ealdwic is however, the hub of the secret world. We will not break that unwritten truce in Ealdwic. We will not be dogging anyone for being Illuminati/Dragon/Phoenician/whatever floats your boat. If however, you WANT to be involved in a situation in which you are apprehended for any reason (maybe you broke council truce?) you must communicate in advance. We are not running this event to be the overbearing jerks claiming to run the city. We're here to have fun, and to bring life to Ealdwic.

3. This is a community event. While only Templars may patrol, our goal is to interact with as much of the roleplay community as possible. While it is possible we'll patrol on times when maybe not many people are about and thus we only RP with ourselves, our goal is to interact. We want to show that the Templar RP community is alive, and we want to demonstrate that it is a fun group to be a part of. We want to involve those of the other societies and we want to build fresh RP off of it!

The first patrol time is scheduled to overlap with a thursday DJ event for that very reason: at some point, one might expect the patrol to hit the God and maybe enjoy the show when it is all finished, or to sweep through the god, tip our hats, and be on our way.

Now. That said. Some specific bits of info:

- Only Templars, Obviously
- Must Wear Templar "Class A" uniforms. That is to say, the uniforms you get from ranking up. No regular civilian clothes. IF however, you are not of the rank to have even the Enlisted Order uniform, a deck outfit or one of the shop items in Templar themes are okay. (Example: newly made templar wears the initiate jacket.)
- Meet up with Golden-Edge prior to the event. Try to make it at least fifteen minutes early
- Have fun!

One note: on 9/17/15 and 9/24/15 while we will NOT be running the event, I may try to get some people for a "rehearsed" run of this. If you're interested, get in touch! We'll give it a dry unofficial run!

Note on Shifts: Because some folks are EU and some folks don't get on until US EST/PST night time (and times in between,) we're running two shifts: one in the afternoon EST time, and another at night time EST time, that way EU and US folks can be involved!
