Two of the things I do when I'm not killing mobs are:

1) Race cars (not the V8 Supercar this car is but more local based)
2) Officiate as a 'flaggie' or track-side official.

When you see things like THIS:



Where the car slaps the wire barrier, that then bends back, ripping out at least one concrete embedded mount pole, to strike the marshal point and put 5 marshals, plus the driver in hospital... AND you realize you've worked that same point MULTIPLE times in your career... it certainly gives you a bit of a wake up call as to your own mortality.

Luckily no-one's badly hurt.
