[SPOILERS] Secret World lore discussion

Post by Venator »

For those who haven't finished the main story line and gathered all Lore pieces that thread may contain spoilers. Approach with caution, etc etc.

-------------------------------------------------
Beware of Spoiler!
Something rather interesting comes up from Lore: Orochi group is actually owned by Lily Engel, who is actually known also as... Lilith, Mara's "mother". And from the name it can be made out "Lilith Angel". Seems that Lilith is angel, like Eblis (who helped to construct and ruled the Hell). And the mysterious high-ranking Orochi, who contacts us in different quests seems to be Samuel Chandra, CEO of Orochi Group (likely the only one to have power to close down Prometheus Initiative, which was directly supervised by Lily Engel). From the Storyline in the Breach, it is also clear that Samuel knew who Lily was, and for some reason remained by her side, while sometimes working against her. Weird.

Lore also reveals the other major (but not obvious) player in TSW - Morninglight cult. Their missions are usually side ones, and do not seem to be important, but still they are in every zone we reach, involved in some rather suspicious activities. Currently Lore reveals that their leader is Philip Marquard, with his "perfect family". Morninglight directly act against Orochi, but compared to abruptly closing newspapers and websites who try to dig into Orochi, Morninglight is still growing and flourishing. Interesting, hmh.
So, any more ideas/comments/notes? :P

If you find yourself forced to mercilessly slaughter your teammates because they become infected with some rare mutation, keep in mind that you are only doing your job -
They would do the same for you.
