The one time I've been in NY, I prepared using this guide: http://www.endgameguides.com/TSW/Raids/ ... onZone/373

Per your experience, is it good or not?

It gives a basic overview of the fight but is extremely simple and doesn't say how the mechanics work or what to do in response, which is why I wrote my guide there.

I also want to say... I don't want to come across as too harsh, especially on our newbie tanks. ;)

We actually did pretty well last time - much better than I expected. It just takes time to learn the encounter. I think I posted in the last raid thread that I ideally wanted to set a limit of 1 hour only, since after that time, there is little chance of it being completed, but people were learning, so just let it go.

Claretta, it it's for me: just plain and direct, no icing on the cake, just straight facts. I can't understand any "reading between the lines" most of the time. Those fancy wrapped mean comments do hurt, straight facts don't.

Well, we didn't get it down. Though had some good tries. It seemed hopeful after the first attempt though... just a lot of small mistakes, particularly with the drakes in phase 2. I'm sure they can be fixed.

I'm sorry to everyone who wasn't able to come along. I invited people based on a combination of who signed up to this thread, who missed out last time, and who was around at the time. The process wasn't exactly formal, and I don't want to make it into a super rigid formal system to avoid problems of creating "tiers" of players, but I'll make sure that anyone who did miss out on 2 hours of wiping tonight will be able to do it next time. :P

Based on that, both Kisshoten and Cleia will have priority for inviting next time.
