Yes, that's exactly what we do.
Re: Raid Sunday 28 July 18:00 GMT
I can fill in for any role in the raid if you need more people
Re: Raid Sunday 28 July 18:00 GMT
Just in the nick of time. Six hours to raid, so to give people who signed on certainty in planning their day, signups are now locked. Based on prior feedback it's important for people to know if they will come.
I will invite the following:
Katelin: Tank
Cleia: Tank
Durendal: Podder
Claretta: Leech healer
Torniquet: Melee DPS
Riora: Pistol/Shotgun DPS
Kisshoten: DPS
Kadyn: DPS (or tank if one of the tanks doesn't show or doesn't want to tank)
Isera: DPS
GaboonViper: DPS
Samcon: Any role reserve
This keeps the raid relatively experienced while also bringing along one totally new person, so am happy with that.
For loot, I haven't quite worked that part out yet... I'm pretty unimpressed with just Need/Greed rolling, because the drops vastly vary in power. We'll talk about that later, but for this week we'll follow the general raid looting policy already in place (http://www.nine-swords.com/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=1922), which means that if you won something of one type, I'll ask you to hold off on rolling on another item of that type. Which means:
Durendal won an astral fuse, so won't roll on a fuse this time.
Cleia won a criterion, so won't roll on a criterion this time.
Riora won a talisman, so won't roll on a talisman this time.
Weapon drops are outside this system because they're just 10.4 meh items.
All I really want to achieve with this type of looting system is to prevent any situation of the same person winning double drops, which would really screw up any future looting system that we may put in place for next week.
Also, of course, will hold off looting until the cutscene is completed.

Re: Raid Sunday 28 July 18:00 GMT
Thanks to all who showed up.
Last week we did it in 1 hour 15. This week was only 30 minutes. So a significant improvement! Everyone deserves congratulations for that.
The loot won so far has been:
Criterion: Cleia, Claretta
Astral Fuse: Durendal, Torniquet
Subway Tokens: GaboonViper
Broadway Charm: Riora
Not keeping track of weapons as they're just fancy skins and bullion savings.
