Full disclosure: You are really welcome to join SofCa - I had hoped to pitch it to people with no experience!

Here's some handy advice if you haven't done a lair before:
  • Be fully repaired before the start in case you die a lot (unless you have a reconstructor) - some lairs are far from a shop
Have space for a least two side missions
Have space in your inventory for loot
When you are at the lair terminal' pick up the two green missions that you are allowed to get - the third mission will be shared with you later

The group goes around killing mobs and picking up stuff to complete these two missions - need or greed on the loot as you see fit - there are signets and blue weapons/talismans to get. There are also 'boss fragments' as loot - PASS on these as the raid leader will collect them to make the bosses at the end.

If you get killed, stay in anima form until you rejoin your body - the group will usually wait for you so you don't have to get through the mobs by yourself.

These two missions are usually 'pick up 10 things' or 'kill 10 of these mobs' - after you have finished these missions DO NOT Send Report but wait until everyone has completed the mission and the group is at a safe area. You will be told when to do this.

After you do send the report, WAIT before completing the next step - you will have a choice of 9 boss fragments to the right of the box - the raid leader will tell you which one to pick. They have names like Phi 08 - if you hover over them you can see their name. After getting your fragment you trade it with the raid leader. Don't worry if you get this wrong - everyone screws this up on their first raid.

The third mission will then be shared with you - the group will then do that mission - follow the process above when you have (hopefully) completed it.

The raid leader will then assemble the fragments into bosses and the group will go to an area to summon these bosses. There is usually some mechanic to be aware of for each boss. PASS on any fragments that drop from the bosses as they will go on to make a Regional Boss but need/greed on the other loot.

That's it!

Raid was a success - 7 raiders - 19 bosses - 1 regional - many achievements!
Much fun.

Fantastic to see you had a lot of success :D

Gratz to all who gained achievements and loot - and especially for the fun you all must have had together. Hopefully I can tag along the next one!! hehe
