I had a great time with smashing guidance and patience from Abe and Shock. I didn't have my sound up so I didn't hear anything from John - that'll have to be next time. I think I will be spending a lot of time in the well (esp. with that first quick aoe) - so I'm considering making a build that fires off dabs and other support stuff while I'm in there - can I change build while welled up? New fist weapon will be in the other thread soon.

Yes, you can swap weapons, talismans and abilities while in the well as you are not in combat. You can also fire off DABS and SF, though it will not always reach the group. It will usually work if the group is close enough to the well though, and most importantly, it does work on the last boss. If I were to guess, I would say that DABSing from the well works on bosses 1 and 6, though I have only seen it be done on boss 6.

Yes - it worked on boss 1 and 6 while I was there - thanks for the info Chaos. Good to know I can change builds.

As for your problem with Boss 1, just look out for when he starts to walk into the middle, that's when you know he will cast his pull.. and straight after then he will cast that huge spinny AoE. Also, if your healer fires off fires off (lol) then your HP will be nice and healthy and you will live to see another day!

For the first boss, I much prefer cold blooded as a healer. The extra HP from the barrier really can save lives if a DPS is a bit too slow in getting out

You keep fist healing, but use cold blooded as your active elite, no blood shield healing or anything like that
