Possible Tokyo Dock Event

Post by Greyell »

Hello,

I don't know if anyone has ever done an event like this or not, but I would like to get a group of 5-10 players together to farm the cargo crates on the Tokyo docks. A few weeks ago I took a stash of roughly 40 keys and made over 600 BB by myself (as I couldn't find a group interested in going with me). As BB's are not divided up, but each player gets their own share, I figured if we set up a monthly event of people bring their stock piles of keys we could mow through bosses and get a large reward of BB's and help lower geared players get AEGIS equipment.

There is the occasional Blue Drop there which could be added to the Cabal Bank or rolled on by the players, or given to the person who's key was used. We would figure out loot rules before starting.

The important thing is to get a few players with a decent stockpile of keys, and then as many people as interested to show up to collect BBs.

Please feel free to post interest or suggestions. If you are interested, give a rough idea of when you'd be free. Thanks in advance!

Definitely interested in this! I'm fine with the owner keeping their BB's and need/greed on the rest of the loot.

Nice idea.

Yesterday I opened around 15 containers and when I opened the last one I was a tiny bit fed up ;-) (got me almost 300BB though)
So I'll gladly participate in this :)

Great idea. I'll start hoarding my keys.

Damn... you get BBs from opening boxes?

I will go with you Grey if I am online, i haven't used any keys yet so I have a few.

From my limited experience opening boxes, each key will open a box, summon a monster and if you kill it, will award some kind of prize.

The prizes seem to be either:

AEGIS Exp (which would be split up among the group)
A Random number of BB (Which I suspect would NOT be split, as it hasn't been in any other loot situation)
or AEGIS style items (Capacitors, Grenades, and Gadgets)

The idea here is that if the BB's award for all members of the group, as an open world event, we could pack way more members than needed into opening boxes and get significantly more BB's than doing it on our, while not really losing out an other loot.

Since most players stockpile some keys away, this is way to help rapidly build up some players with this loot.

If your selected Aegis controller is at 100% it seems to give pax instead of XP

From my experience of opening containers together with Kate, the BB there are former sequin drops, and as such NOT available for everybody. They are subject to need and greed. So the main synergy of killing them in a team is around the bound drops.
