when you post anyDPS, we assume you can do any of these roles: dps, da/bs dps, adds dps.
For every raid we need at least 2xDA/BS DPS, 1xAdds DPS, 3xDPS.

Since you havne't done it before, likely will pair you with another adds DPS.

Not really.....can do as in have the gear and build.
In 3rd phase adds need to be taken care of, if you only have a pistol/shotgun build it will be very difficult since you don't have the range. You can move out of your buff circle but it will take too long to get rids of the adds and you'll get eaten by adds (and reduce overall dps). So ideally you would be long range, you can stay in the buff circle, burn the adds and go back to shooting the lurker.

I never said you have to have done it before, I did say I would couple you with another one.
If adds DPS dies early it's a wipe! (just like when a tank dies or a healpod dies too early).

Taz, Kiss wasn't trying to be mean or rude, just trying to verify if he needed to give you help as adds DPS, or if you could solo it. He also was verifying you understood it required a different build to be effective (AR/Blood is the easiest to learn with, but Ele/Blood handles adds about as well and does better damage to the Lurker, but takes more practice to be effective).

We're always happy to train people in new roles, and Adds DPS is one of the most valuable roles in the raid. So the more capable adds DPS we have, the better.

If you ever want to learn a new role, just tell us and we'll do our best to accommodate.
