Flappy Raid Elite Wednesday 06 April 2016 19:00 GMT

Post by Kisshoten »

Hello All,

For the ones living in a time zone in Summer Time: Check your DST setting here.
Event is set to 19:00 UTC, which is 20:00 BST and 21:00 CEST (TZ converter).

Wanted to give the Flappy Raid, also known as Agartha Defiled (or was it the other way round), a try.
For this raid we need 2 tanks, a fist healer, a leech and the rest dps.
  • Usually 1 tank on flappy while the other tank picks up adds.
  • Fist heal 5-6k since it tends to get initial aggro until tank grabs it.
  • DPS need at least 4k health (1 minor + potion).
    • 2x DA/BS
    • From the DPS, 2 will be designated for Shade killing (She Who Crawls Outside, top platform, dps race).
  • Leech also 4k health.
Important in this raid is that DPS stay alive as certain parts are dps races.

We as a cabal have tried this before without success, it was before the nerfing of flappy and the big gear upgrades that we have now.

As this is pretty new for most of us I will ask the following:
- minimum 10.2 gear
- When signing up please state your preferred role and any other roles you could do.
- For each role: weapons + specs

For now flappy runs will not be part of the raid policy, to avoid flooding our system with points. (not too mention I have no idea what drops with it).

A quick guide on the fight can be found here
Our remarks on the flappy try last year

In case we kill Flappy by accident: Everyone does a /roll in the ingame chat, highest roller get sot pick first etc.

Sign-ups (First 13, team will be decided later)
  1. Kisshoten
  2. Katelin - Tank/DPS
  3. Durendal - Fistheal
  4. TS-13 - DPS/Leech/Tank
  5. Xkraft - Heal/DPS
  6. CarbonArc - DPS
  7. Floryn - DPS
  8. Greyell - DPS
  9. Goge - DPS

Kate
tank - 10.9/10.7 ish average depending on exact build I need.
Dps - 10.5/10.7 average shotgun pistol or melee.

Durendal fist / leech healing or dps. No idea on his stats. But he's sexy... so that must count for something lol

They would do the same for you.

For learning runs, I think running a healer and leech probably is better, until/unless the healer has experience solo healing Flappy.

So, in 9S, that's basically you or Shock.

I can post the two tanks builds I've run for Flappy, one is Blade/Hammer and the other is Chaos/Blade when I get home from work. The Blade/Hammer one has more mitigation, but the Chaos/Blade one does more DPS. Though, I likely could make the Blade/Hammer one also do more DPS, but I really like having Helter Skelter in Flappy.

Also, the tank should run Double Dash and bring at least Surging Blades. Probably RJ too.

Another thing I've found helps a lot is running the DABS passives.

A Fuse, a Crit (Think it's always one of each, but could be wrong) some Kickbacks/Stims (Some good, some crap), a Custom Toolkit and I think nothing else worthwhile.

Well, my experience is that keeping the tanks up is not that hard for a healer, and dps dying is from stuff that a healer can not save, like getting blasted off the platform or getting caught in tear of dis.

And you really want to have as much DPS for the raid as you can.
