The metaverse graveyard -- what do you think?

Post by Waspstar »

I've just read this PC Gamer item about the 'the metaverse graveyard' -- a place for ex-players.

I'm not sure what I think. What do you think?

I think that while the idea of commemorating the Friends with whom we played is good, the form of execution is strange, in my opinion a better idea would be just a website with a division into games and the possibility of creating an entry commemorating a given player. The described version looks like a clickbait to me, it will generate a lot of visitors, but I doubt that the curiosity will last for a long time.

I use google translator to write that, becouse i wasn't sure if i use correct words to say what i mean, so i hope is understandable :)

Interesting thoughts.

And, yes, perfectly understandable, but you also are in my experience.

I think the writer of the article had it right, even if it's a sweet idea initially it's just going to turn into a place where you can troll people by making a virtual graveyard for them.
