Safety helmets on... the usual warning that something might want to visit your skull at close distance, and that you should do something about it, or have your plans for the evening irreparably ruined. But which helmet to choose?
Well, if you are going to the Ankh, you might have ideas of using this one:
After all, it's like climbing down into a cave, isn't it? Wrong, of course! The worst dangers in the Ankh are all these motes floating around, as anybody lacking lightspeed reflexes (and a perfect network connection) will tell you.
Let's make a second attempt at a safety helmet, then. We Secret Worlders don't really fear physical damage to our heads. There's always an anima well nearby, and we are very used to dying and respawning. You could say this is the single most shared skill amongst all of us.
The real danger, then, comes from what tries to insiduously find its way into your head: the voices from Tyler Freeborn, the stupidity and madness of the Dimir farm, or the numbingly dull speeches durin a meeting at an Illuminati firm. Taking all of this into account, the best safety helmet has to be this one:
"But it doesn't look good", I hear you say. And you are perfectly right! If I saw anybody wear this, I'd immediately think they've lost their mind... while, ironically, they were merely trying to protect it!
This takes us back to the only true way to protect oneself from danger, which is, and has always been, to blend in one's surroundings. Oh, you'd say, like the local fauna?

If it's taking damage, heal it. If it's not, heal it all the same -- it might soon take damage.

No, no, no, no, no... Who isn't ever harmed in the Secret World? Who lives in plain sight without attracting any attention from all those bloodthirsty agents running all over the place? The NPC! To be truly safe, you simply need to dress like an NPC would, helmet included!
If it's taking damage, heal it. If it's not, heal it all the same -- it might soon take damage.

mhm.. it meant JUST like you did it I am sure!
If you find yourself forced to mercilessly slaughter your teammates because they become infected with some rare mutation, keep in mind that you are only doing your job -
They would do the same for you.
They would do the same for you.

I checked an expiration date... not that I had any plans regarding what is in the box.

Re: Competition: 9S Safety BINGO!
Just like rain, filth is imprevisible; and just like rain, once you're soaked, you don't care anymore. Instead of spending long hours wondering how to dress appropriately for a filth spillage, I suggest you simply dress for an ordinary day, full of running and gunning. And filth? Well, filth happens anyway.
If it's taking damage, heal it. If it's not, heal it all the same -- it might soon take damage.
