So, "kanpai" doesn't mean "на здраве" ("na zdrave"), which roughly translates like "be healthy" (English "cheers"), but it is more like "на екс" ("until the bottom") ... Good to know Thanks!

In Polish we have also “na zdrowie” = “be healthy” = cheers
And for Kanpai that would be “do dna”

Actually, it is "до дъно" ("do dano") in Bulgarian. "на екс" is kind of slang to say the same .... but they are going to understand you in both cases
