We went up against The Lurker, and The Lurker kicked our butts.
We regrouped figured out what we needed to know, went up against him again, and again The Lurker kicked our butts.
We had a lot of new faces, so this was a learning experience. However, by the time it was over, we seemed to have a better understanding of the mechanics, where to stand, what the timing should be, and the ebb-and-flow of things. Although we were lower DPS that we were used to, we were picking up the mechanics nicely as a team.
After almost an hour, we figured we had learned quite a bit, so we gave it one more try. And then The Lurker kicked our butts.
