*pulls out a chocolate bar and shrugs* Let me know who won. Too bad you're too busy kicking seats, you'd spill crumbs everywhere... Oh well...
*bites deliberately slow, visibly enjoying*
...Oh, we're not there yet. Five kilometers seem to add each time you ask... Maybe a wormhole or something...
*slow grin*

I wonder who is thinking of a future with 9S?

Greetings Templars of 9 Swords. I have been referred here by this thread:

http://www.darkdemonscrygaia.com/showthread.php?t=24791

A thread in which I was inquiring with the community on any RP/PVP focused cabals in TSW. I have also done some browsing on the fan site forum and have also come across 9s's and had my interest piqued.

While I will very much PVE, RP and PVP are things that keep me going long term in an MMO. To date, the only other game that has really held my interest was AoC due to its unique combat style and immersive environment with which to RP. I expect TSW to give me that same experience, so am looking for the long haul (I only recently gave up on AoC, and had been playing since launch).

I am not a hard core RP'er though, but do enjoy playing in the setting of the game and keeping the immersion of the game feeling alive. As well, I enjoy PVP for its change of pace and adrenaline rush, but usually RP and PVP don't mix, or finding a guild/cabal that focuses on those elements is challenging although I have found there are many players looking for it.

That being said I had "thought" of doing my own cabal (I even started a website...only as a place holder...not sure if anything will come of it: http://www.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?G ... ID=3801482 ), but I have found (after running one guild at AoC launch) that it is consuming, and with work and RL, something is going to have to sacrifice, so finding an existing cabal I can join and contribute with is my first choice. With several members replying to my post, I am now exploring my options here. :D

I also want to thank Kotts, Xeeyon and Bpy6 for guiding me here. ;)

I'm all about working as a team and teaching/helping where needed. It's more satisfying to learn together or help when needed. I also enjoy helping organizing events, matches, etc...if that matters. Lastly, I enjoy encouraging others to come up with a story behind their toon...even if they dont RP...it, again, helps to create that immersive environment that gives a game staying power. Who doesnt want to be part of a living, breathing evolving story that they are a key part of?

Welcome to our website, Earl Grey. A tea which I quite like!! I prefer English Breakfast .. but that would have made an awful character name.

When you have had a look around a bit more, please feel free to ask any questions you might have - and if you do decide we are definitely the cabal for you - then you can find our application process over here: http://www.nine-swords.com/directives.php?d=49
If you find yourself forced to mercilessly slaughter your teammates because they become infected with some rare mutation, keep in mind that you are only doing your job -
They would do the same for you.

Hello! Glad you found your way here :)

There are more players out there with the same dilemma. Kotts is leading the PvP division, yet he roleplays and goes on PvE and... I find myself with the same problem: I love more than one and only one thing! No "specialized" cabal out there could satisfy me. I would always be lacking something I find important and enjoyable.

We assembled a team of founders that is very diversified and that covers a broad range of skills and interests. Our differences are a strength, thanks to mutual respect! You can check out the "Division Overview" at http://www.nine-swords.com/directives.php?d=21 This will give a summary of what's what :) If you'd like to dig further, you can then look at the directives, in the left hand menu (under 9S CENTRAL).

I also thought about starting my own cabal a few years ago, I had some ground work done but in order to achieve something worthy of being called a cabal, it's very demanding. I met some of the Nine Swords leaders at different times. One is my husband, others are friends from other games, and others I met through a previous cabal. We regrouped and formed Nine Swords, which was closer to our heart and aspirations.

If you like to contribute and have ideas and are not afraid to use them, then we are likely to have a spot with your name on it :)

That is the spirit that guided us when we set up Nine Swords. Working as a team and complementing one another has allowed us to do a lot with little means and little time. We puzzle people because we're not a "specialist" guild, but we are a gathering of diversified talents who work together.

I do believe that there are more out there who like to experience more than one flavor of a game.

So, chill out, explore and ask questions if you have any :) Also, feel free to hop in our chat! Click "Chat" in the top right link of our forum. If you want to see who's in chat before, check the forum index, scroll down to the list of users: the names with an * next to them are the ones who are logged in the chat.

Hope this helped!

It's true we are a pretty diverse group. Not everyone PVP or RPs but those that do we're more then willing to encourage and help them get better. A lot of us come for being leaders or officers of other guilds, and all have our own tastes. What better way to have a strong foundation then have us each tackle what niche we like. :)

Introduction Thread.

Hi. I am Me.

Now depending on which character I happen to playing at any particular time, Me can also be referred to as Sangre, Cruel, Lazarus or Sammael among others.
Sangre being my most common netnick, and also the one reserved for TSW.

Here's hoping you fine folks feel my application is worth giving a once over. I am actually pretty damn charming and fun to be around. at least that's what I tell everyone when I meet them. Thankfully, most people are too polite to correct me of that particular delusion.

Seriously looking forward to meting out some righteous justice and standing firm against the rising tide of darkness and evil that has befallen our world. There will be no compromise. No weakness, no faltering in our duty. And sadly, we no longer can afford the precepts of mercy. Mankind makes it last stand in these day and I hope to stand by your side. For with Unity and Order will come the strength we need to prevail.

The Dragons fight because they must. The Illuminati fight to rule. Only We fight to Defend and Protect. The Templars are the only true heroes of this new age. And that is why I wish to join.
