"I've had just about enough of this!" Alex panted as he rose. Focusing, this time on his chaotic abilities, a thin green mist quickly wrapped around his arms, forming into keen claws. Chaos magick, one of his fields of expertise, was already in play by Tom. This might add to the energetic entropy of the surrounding area, but at this point, it was the furthest thing from Alex's mind. Rage took the place of truly conscious thought: his fight-instincts took over.

With the assailant stunned, Alex ducked into a dead run at the magus, every intention to incapacitate him. His claws at his side, he prepared a quick slice across the man's side, giving Tom the space he needed to engage the target.
I once tried playing Blind Man's Bluff with a Tarot Deck. Someone got the Ten of Swords, and well, that was the end of that.

Now that he was in melee range, Tom did what Tom does best. He smashed.

The first order of business was to put this joker out of commission. Tom didn't fancy getting hit by one of those big spears. He had seen Jenn work with blood magic as well, and he sure as hell didn't want to let this man touch his skin for long if he was throwing around that kind of power. He balled up his fist as he grabbed for the front of the guy's shirt with his other hand. Then he swing a hard jab, aiming directly for the man's lower jaw and throat.

If he was lucky, he might even dislocate that jaw, if not, he would probably bust his knuckles wide open on some teeth. Either way, Tom was hoping that the blow would make it hard for the man to think. It was hard to throw death spears when you couldn't put two thoughts together.

Elania's gunshots, being fired so closely, managed to snap Kleopas back down to earth. Feeling like a diver resurfacing he glanced around and took in the scene, Elania was seemingly passed out in his arms again and the others had engaged the assailant with a unsubtle but effective counter attack.
Kleopas quickly moved to lift Elania from the floor and move her around the corner. Hopefully out of the fight and out of harms way so he could address any wounds see may have received in the opening attacK

"Bloody hell" He cursed as he began to move "These lot are almost as qualified in the subtle department as I am"

"But you couldn't sneak past a deaf guard dog" Miranda chirped in, having reappeared again.

"Thats the point M."

"Okay well at least you've got the girl in your arms, just like all those spy movies"

"I ... uh .... I don't think this counts" Kleopas sheepishly replied. He began to go a bit red in the face.

"Sureeee it does, this is the part where the bad guy's friends turn up and everything"

He paused slightly. 'Oh damn she's right' he thought 'attacking a group in broad daylight like this is a stupid idea, so why did he do it?"

"Errr guys" Kleopas called over his shoulder to the combatants " I don't think this guy is alone, if I was him I would have backup or a means to ensure I would win. Especially against a group such as ourselves"

Even as he said this Kleopas began to unholster his sidearm in preparation for the bad guys contingency plan. With one of their team already incapacitated, another possibly wounded and the rest occupying such an open space he couldn't help but think that he was going to have a busy day.

[Round 6]
The man in grey plaid starts to focus his eyes on Tom, from whom he is an arms length away. A slow smirk starts to form on his face as he reaches behind his over-shirt. [Attacker has the condition dazed and bloody]

Though there is no sound, a large light in the northern wall pulses blue.

As the surge of energy continues to pulse through his body, Silas loses himself. No longer focusing on a target, he begins to affect the area around him. The lights in the dock area begin to flicker and the ground at his feet becomes extremely cold. It seems as if Silas is no longer aware of his surroundings or the fact that he is in the eye of the public. He is hovering slightly above the ground and his eyes glow brightly as a localized snow storm swirls around him. [Whiteout]

Tom was too busy seeing red to notice a flashing blue light. He held the man in place with a fist balled in his jacket and just kept pounding his other fist into that face.

Jenn saw Elania go down again and dodged out from behind her safe, comfortable pillar. As she was running, she saw that flashing blue light, and she went pale as a ghost. "TOM! Get us the feck out of here!"

She skidded to her knees by Elania and urged the woman, "We need to get you on your feet... get out of here..." It didn't really seem to sink in to her that Elania probably couldn't hear her... or anything. Jenn pressed her hand on the woman's arm and let the blood magic flow out through where the glyphs had been a moment before on her own arm. A barrier tried to surge into being around Elania, flooding her with as much healing magic as Jenn could pull using her own blood.

"Come on..." she urged desperately. "We've got to get out of here."

Lost in the surge of power, Silas could barely make heads or tails of what was going on. He had nothing to focus on, nothing to keep him grounded, until in the midst of the wave of emotions, he sensed a void. It was as if a voice in the choir of feelings had suddenly stopped. Strange as it seemed, that void gave him a place to focus, a place to anchor his chaotic mind. He latched on to the emptiness and began to draw himself back to where he was needed. A persistant thought kept coming to the forefront of his mind. "Your Friends need you to be HERE. FOCUS!!" Though this seemed to take a long time in his mind, only a few seconds had passed. As he came around he heard someone scream "TOM! Get us the feck out of here!" They were in trouble and he had been no help to keep it from happening. Next to him his eyes fell on a blue light. "Great..... Way to go Stupid" He thought to himself. He left the spot where he was standing and quickly went to help Jennet with Elania.
