I just looked through my pattern collection, and it's actually looking more positive regarding Carpathian Fangs pieces than anticipated. I'm just one drop short of a guaranteed set of three bosses, when accounting for five mission rewards.

Boss mechanics wise, the main challenge on the lair will most likely be the troll boss. He requires an off tank to allow the tank to get rid of debuff stacks. So I'm thinking of fist healing this one with 6k HP and agitator slotted. Then Kate and me can handle it with a few provokes or confuses as needed and we don't need to distract the DPS with random aggro.

Yay team. Gratz on Durendal, Elil and Naite on getting their Carpathian Fangs Lair Bosses all completed :)

They would do the same for you.

Here's a picture of the group that did the Kingsmouth Lair. We had a great time!

Now that I'm back, I can lend a hand. I got way too many leftover pieces from before I left but I'll be glad to share. All I ask is to help kill the Scythian and Trans regional boss.

Congratulations all!

Though, I have one question, why run two separate lairs when you can form a raid and run one? Running with 9 people guarantees you can fight all three bosses in a lair as long as you assign the quest turn-ins correctly. Unfortunately the gathering quests don't update raid-wide so you have to essentially run them two times, but that's fast with 9-10 people.

I largely limit my team to 5 in order to keep a bit of challenge, and at the same time reduce the organizational overhead. Running liars is also about loot in part, and running two usually gives us twice as many bosses.

Running as a raid is viable, just not fun for me.

That makes sense, the bosses are very easy with a raid, and loot does get spread more thin with 10 too.

This lair run was a great event. I am looking forward for next runs.
