I'm calling off the scheduled lair runs for a while.

For me, time is not an issue. I can come on and I can wait until we get 10 members from the cabal and then run, but it's not the same case for everyone.

Today I've had a very negative experience with the lair runs, with people sending me tells constantly to hurry up, that we can't wait whole night and stuff like that. On top of people doing it in raid chat as well, not as much, but yeah.

Other than that, we had problems with joining the same instances and you could just feel frustration from the whole raid, no one had to say anything. If I was frustrated with it, so was everyone else.

So, until we get more cabal members ready for lairs, I won't be running any.

I'll also take this as a chance to break from the game, because I'm quite burned out. I might log on casually some days to do some SF runs, some elites and just to say hi. ;p

Valor, may I suggest organizing runs on Saturday and sunday? Weekends are when we seem to have the most members on.

Many of us work 40+ hour weeks so gaming time during weekdays is limited, but on weekends we all get together to enjoy some SWL even though our time zones may differ greatly (it's the only days I get to see Kate and Dur for instance)

Thank you for all the time you have put into this, I had a blast on monday and it was the first time I've had the opportunity to maintank the bosses :D

Okay. I won't schedule it, but I will come online this Saturday evening and try to run it. If it works out without issues, I'll make it a scheduled weekly lair runs then, every Saturday and Sunday.

Valor - just to give you insight to experiences from before in TSW. They may not still hold true - but when I'm big enough to be running this I'm sure going to try them out again.

People like things to start when they are scheduled to start if they signed up for something. I waited til 5past the hour unless someone had posted that they would be there at 10past for example.

If I didn't get a full team with the correct positions filled an hour before start time I cancelled so people could do something else.

I burnt out running same things all the time. So personally, I varied what I did each day if I was organising. Organising is hard work!! Especially when people are learning.

Sign ups to things were generally more *strict* in terms of the information needed to accept a sign up. A reserves list helped.

We didn't have the problem with capping zones. But I can see how that is really frustrating.

You are appreciated. The fact you are doing what you are is great for the cabal - but please look after you :) Less can be more - and hopefully as our PvE division grows, more people will be organising things too.
If you find yourself forced to mercilessly slaughter your teammates because they become infected with some rare mutation, keep in mind that you are only doing your job -
They would do the same for you.

Thanks for the lair run yesterday Valor. It's great that we have enough cabal people to run them. You mentioned that you were hoping to do another one today (Sunday 13 August).

It would certainly help me if we had a time that we would hope to start so that I can plan ('cos of kids, cooking, tea, animals, crochet etc.). Perhaps this might also help other people. I understand that you don't want too much responsibility atm but a vague idea of start time would really help.

Thanking you in advance.

Oh, it's like the usual times from before. 7 pm cest

Edit: Just to be clear, this is when I'll log on and start recruiting, not when the actual run is going to start. Start may be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour from when I log on.

Anyone up for another lair run of BM and BF on this Sunday? Timewise I was thinking 19.00/7 pm GMT, but as it's the weekend we can move around the starting time a bit. Obviously I can't edit the original post, but I will collect sign-ups in this post. If you'd like to participate, just answer in this thread and tell me your preferred role. Hi Pene - that's great - I was thinking we should have enough people now geared up to run these again. The time is a bit rubbish for me - 18.00 gmt or onwards until 20.00 gmt is much better for me. That's also the time we used to run these kinda things in the past - but i don't know how that is for possible US people. Time zones. Huh.

I can 245 ip dps. (Or be an all level 25 blue healer).
