I don't know how the calendar works. I set it to 4 AM my time because that's 18:00 GMT and I thought it would adjust it for everyone's timezone.

But I set it back now to 6pm, see if that fixes it.

Now it reads
NYC Raid 18:00 GMT (on Thu 25th Jul at 10:00)
for me. FYI: I'm at GMT+0200, CET, which is UTC+0100 plus 1h DST

Well ignore the calendar time and just assume it's at 18:00 GMT. :P

I've tried to setting it both to what 18:00 would be at my time and at a general time, and both seem to be off.

you have to set at the time for you, Claretta. And make sure your forum profile reflects the right daylight savings time for you.
If you find yourself forced to mercilessly slaughter your teammates because they become infected with some rare mutation, keep in mind that you are only doing your job -
They would do the same for you.

OK, figured it out yes - I made a mistake in time zones, sorry.

Thanks for moving it. :) However it seems to be displaying as starting at 19:00 in the calendar for me now. It says it starts at 5 AM my time, but 18:00 is 4AM.

I assume it's the one hour DST we have here in Europe from last Sunday in March to last Sunday in October. Shows now 9PM for me, should be 8PM.

Oh, hmmm, someone did, and now I can't edit the event because it's not my event entry to edit anymore, but is an hour off. :P

Events work best when they're associated to a forum thread. Standalone calendar events are a bit problematic. In fact, if it was possible to disable those I totally would. But it's an "either both or none" thing, and there seems to be popular consensus that having calendar posting rights for members is a good thing. :)

For future reference, check the "Associated Event" tab when creating / editing the first post of a thread for the most stable calendar interface.

Oh yeah, I get what you're saying there. I didn't know the function existed.
